These original drawings capture certain aesthetics and moods that I am drawn to (pun intended). Some are dark and mysterious while others are ecstatic. They invite you as the viewer to contemplate their inherent nature. This body of work was a very personal endeavor into exploring my surreal art style. I still have many of these originals and have a wonderful time “paintifying” them. I mount the drawing (done on paper) to a cradled wood panel, which gives it structure and rigidity. Then I seal the drawing with clear acrylic paint. This gives the drawing the durability of a painting and will no longer be prone to smudging or fading. To finish it off, I build a custom floating frame and mount the artwork for you, so it’s ready to hang upon arrival.
